Selsun Shampoo Ingredients:
Selenium Sulfide
The active ingredient in the original selsun shampoo formulas. Selenium Sulfide works to eliminate dandruff and prevent it in the future, and is used as an anti-fungal agent to fight off tinea versicolor which induces dandruff.

Pyrithione Zinc

Menthol
Mentol is a natural substance found in mint plants. In our scalp, we have special cold Menthol receptors, and when in contact with menthol our scalp gets stimulated and produces a nice cooling effect.

Magnesium Aluminum Silicate
Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is a natural mineral found in clay that is purified and then used as a thickener in hair cosmetics. It is considered to be safe to use in shampoos.

Citric Acid
Citric Acid is an used in cosmetics to counter the acidity of the shampoo/skin, and thus reducing skin inflammation and producing an alkalizing effect, restoring ph balance and skin moisture
